Redshift Reassessed via Functional Equations

Based upon the invariance of red shift over the emitted frequencies of a stellar source, a functional equation is derived whose only non-trivial solution is an exponential function. This methodology is applied to recessional redshift, for both relativistic and non-relativistic additions of velocities, as well as for gravitational redshift. We present a new scientific theory that generalizes Special and General theory of Relativity, and provides the singular framework for both quantum and relativistic effects.

The equations reduce to those of Einstein’s Relativity in certain special cases, such as nearby astronomically isolated places, much like the one we live on. This is the reason the experimental body of evidence did not deviate from Einstein’s theory. We propose new experiments to verify the theoretical constructs proposed.
